OUR STORY
Haiti is a country full with amazing and talented artisans. The Haitian people are known to be one of the best craftmen in the world through the creation of of their beautiful hand made such as painting, the recycled oil drum pieces, and much more. Hence our name Hand’s print. It is our desire that you will be inspired by the pieces that your purchase in our website. We aim to support our artisans by providing fair prices for their products. We take pride in supporting so that they can in turn support their families including sending their children to school.

Haiti’s Hand Print works and partners with a variety of independent artisans in Haiti in order to have a collection that is rich and authentic. Your Purchase is truly making a difference by allowing the artisans to keep doing what they love doing and provide some financial stability for their families. Many lives have been changed as a result of your support.
It is our desire that you will enjoy the piece that you purchased. We have spent a great deal of time selecting the pieces in our collection and offer a diverse selection of handcrafted goods such as jewelry, metal art, painting, and much more. We also offer customized orders.

Know that your purchase is empowering several families and organizations in Haiti. Your purchase supports one mission that is very close to our heart: TeacHaiti. Haiti’s Hand print also partners with Jerusalem which is a program that works with at risk youth in the ghetto by providing a variety of life skills that empower and inspire a better life. Their program includes but not limited to karate, sport and motivational speakers.
Haiti’s hand print supports ADASE which it is a program that focuses on agriculture. They work directly with young Haitians to teach them about they importance of farming as well as providing internships to agronomist students and agricultural technical students.
Over 90% of food consumed in Haiti is imported. The work of ADASE is absolutely crucial in order to cultivate a sense of love and pride for the environment and ultimately reduces the percentage of food being imported into the country.

MEET OUR TEAM
Miquette McMahon is our founder and director. She is a philanthropist and has a passion for handmade art from her native country of Haiti. She aims to give a platform too many talented artisans who would otherwise not be noticed through their work. Her dreams are to see her Haitian artisans become financial stable through the labor of their hands.
Edmon Jean is an artisan from Croix Des Bouquets. He works his a team to make all of the metal pieces you see on our website.
Jean Ednord Joseph is the artisan behind our beaded collection. His entire family helps in the business to provide beautiful and unique pieces.
Bien Aime Nossiere is the artisan who makes the jewelry that are made of cow horn and bone. He is truly talented. He has been making these unique jewelry for over 4 years.
