From poverty to passionate philanthropy, Miquette has lived the ultimate example of paying it forward.

A story written from the author’s firsthand experience getting to know and working with Miquette McMahon in her quest to get an education in America and establish schools for under served children in Haiti who live in the impoverished neighborhoods where she came from. Against great odds, at the age of 18 and having finished 9th grade, with incredible helpers, even when not able to speak English she made her way to Detroit Lakes, MN. She learned English, graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran High School and Moorhead Minnesota’s Concordia College with a degree in Nursing. Her fundraising and the schools in Haiti have been a huge success. This is the story of TeacHaiti.
